Eleanor Cross
The double bass was one of the last
instruments that Eleanor decided to take up, but proved to be one of her
favourites... although
Eleanor can't help but want to have a go an anything that makes sound!
The first instruments she picked up and continues to play are violin and
piano.
She has just completed her degree in Music and Music
Technology from Keele University and has completed a PGCE at MMU
in Didsbury, Manchester, and about to be let loose teaching music to
unsuspecting pupils in the Staffordshire area following a teaching
practice at Robbie Williams' former secondary school.
Eleanor was sessioning on a weekly basis on
the fiddle from the age of 13, learning to play be ear and improvising.
She is more of a closet pianist.
Eleanor loves contributing to the arrangements in
the band, drinking 'wed rine' and creating spoonerisms.Eleanor
also plays fiddle in 2 other bands-' Splinter' and 'Keep off The Grass'
.
